Mini Cast Iron
There will always be trade-offs when it comes to cooking outdoors. The major one you will consistently have to consider is the amount of things you want to haul out into the woods, vs ease with which you want to cook your meal. We took a look at this challenge and decided to see what we could do with a single 3.5" mini cast iron pan.
Everyone loves cast iron, but no one likes to carry it. It's a great material because it is non-stick, you can use it cook almost anything, they heat evenly, and you can throw it straight into the fire. The problem is always going to be the weight, those suckers are heavy. But the question is do you have to always carry such a big pan to get the job done?
